Richard is a medical student at the New York Medical College School of Medicine. He completed his degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, where he conducted translational research at the Wilmer Eye Institute and created a breast biopsy device for developing countries. In his gap year, he worked as an analyst for Clinvue, a healthcare innovation firm consulting for hospital systems and medical device companies.
Passionate about mentorship, Richard served on the leadership board for the business fraternity AKPsi, where he formally mentored engineering, pre-medical, and business undergraduates on choosing meaningful career paths and writing applications for jobs/graduate schools. Richard looks forward to helping pre-medical students find their vision for medicine and craft impactful medical school applications!”
