Nicole is a second-year medical student at Frank H. Netter MD, School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Music. During her gap year, Nicole worked in healthcare as a medical scribe and trainer at a Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Department.
By combining engineering, computer coding, and occupational therapy, Nicole was able to publish papers in the areas of Rett Syndrome, Neurosurgery, and Pediatric Cancer. She is currently doing research regarding documentation preferences of physicians in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). She previously volunteered as a tutor at a local children’s hospital and she currently volunteers as an Art Project Leader at Yale Children’s Hospital.
Nicole has mentored many students attending her undergraduate school as well as privately tutored students in pre-medical and MCAT classes. She is also a current medical school interviewer and knows what schools are looking for! She is excited to help other students reach their goals and their dream medical school
