Head of Pre-Dental Admissions
Jake is an incoming dental student at The University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry. He graduated with honors from The Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies. Jake has conducted research to demonstrate the acceptance of fluoride varnishes (FV) offered to children on a walk-in basis in a retail-based setting. The abstract that he wrote was selected for presentation at the Annual Session of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In his own application process, Jake was extended numerous acceptances from some of the most selective dental schools in the country.
Jake has extensive experience with mentoring and teaching students. He has served as both an admissions representative for Johns Hopkins and has also been a Teaching Assistant for Clinical & Public Health Behavior Change and tutor for Chemistry, Biology, Chinese Language and Literature. Additionally, he served as President of The Johns Hopkins University Pre-Dental Society and frequently lectured on topics ranging from DAT prep to financing dental school. He loves working with pre-dental students to help build holistic and well-rounded applications.
