Elizabeth Liu (Lizzy)
Lizzy is a first-year medical student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies at Johns Hopkins University and was inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health. In her gap year, she worked as a medical scribe and conducted research in practice management/quality assurance at Capital Digestive Care.
Lizzy has conducted clinical and public health research on obesity and diabetes at the NIH and the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is excited to continue exploring her interests in clinical and public health research in medical school.
Outside of her research, Lizzy has extensive experience tutoring and mentoring high school and college students. She also has experience writing and editing for the Johns Hopkins News-Letter as a Science & Technology Section Editor. She is looking forward to working with medical school applicants to help them craft their applications!
