David is a first-year student at Harvard Medical School. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2017 with a B.S. in Human Biology and a minor in Health Care Studies. As a Supplemental Instruction leader, he taught organic chemistry and mentored students in the class. He maintains ongoing relationships with former students and currently advises many of them through the medical process.
After graduation, David co-founded the Rosamond High School Alumni Association that focuses on both scholarship and mentorship. In Boston, he continues to mentor as a Harvard College and Northeastern Pre-Medical Advisor and recently joined the Harvard Medical Student Review team, a writing and editing group focused on issues facing health and medicine. David is passionate about identifying and addressing health inequities and hopes to work at the intersection of medicine and policy.
